Ballasted Track

Standard rail pads and resilient rail pads are produced in different materials to cope with any technical specification.

Under sleeper pads (USP) can be chosen to further reduce maintenance costs and increase the track quality and longevity. Soft USP’s designed for light axle loads give high vibration attenuation while intermediate and stiff USPs are the solution for mixed traffic, transition zones, main lines and high-speed tracks.

It is possible to reach a high vibration mitigation in a ballasted track by use of under ballast mats (UBM). Made in resin-bounded rubber these mats are easy to install without joints, resistant to any climatic conditions and available in various thicknesses.
