Floor, wall and ceiling systems – our products explained with animation

FLOORS

Floating floors are used where there is a requirement to either protect a noise sensitive area or to isolate an area where excessive noise is produced.

Floating floors isolates the working floor from the supporting structure and can be designed to take domestic, commercial or industrial loads. We focus on designing resilient floating floors for all types of activities.

Typical applications are apartments, training facilities, recording studios, rehearsal rooms, concert halls, bowling halls, discotheques, pubs etc.

Floating floor system VT-BAT

Vibratec floor system VT-BAT is a quick and easy-to-install system with discrete isolators. The system comprises of 3 meter long and a width of 48 mm steel battens with isolators (elastic elements) available in 4 different standard heights: 25, 30, 50 and 75 mm (other heights available on request).

Floating floor system VT-dBlock

VT-dBlock is an adjustable system for raised floors specially developed for a quick and easy installation and for effective impact and airborne sound isolation.

WALLS

Vibratecs acoustic wall suspension products play a crucial role in noise reduction by effectively decoupling inner walls. By preventing the transmission of vibrations and structure-borne sound, these products contribute significantly to creating a quieter and more peaceful environment.

The principle behind decoupling walls lies in creating a separation between different layers of walls, such as the facade wall and the stud wall.

This separation creates a void or space between the walls, which acts as a barrier to break the direct path of sound waves. As a result, the impact of noise and other disruptive sounds is greatly reduced, leading to improved acoustics and enhanced comfort within the space.

VT-AWS (Acoustic Wall Suspension) is used to de-couple inner walls to prevent transmission of vibrations and structure born sound.

CEILINGS

A suspended ceiling is often required to protect an area from noise generated by activities in spaces directly above, or vice versa.

Vibratec’s range of resilient hangers maximise the sound insulation of suspended ceilings by isolating them from the supporting structure, thus improving the airborne and impact noise levels.

For stringent requirements solutions with springs are recommended as these result in a very low resonance frequency.

Also custom made hangers can be delivered to meet specific demands for installation, adjustment or isolation requirements.

Suspended ceiling system VT-SFC

The VT-SFC Single Frame Ceiling System is designed to optimize the sound isolation of suspended ceilings. The system comprises of VT-SFC hangers and profile rails.
