Blidö’s New Centre – and the Comfort of Silence with VT-ACC
We’re proud to have contributed to the new development in Stämmarsund on Blidö!
Apartments, shops, and a small hotel now stand completed – forming a new hub for both residents and visitors in the archipelago. Vibratec supplied our acoustic ceiling hanger VT-ACC to the project, helping to ensure quiet and comfortable indoor environments.
This is especially important when residential units and commercial spaces share the same building – where privacy must coexist with activity and everyday movement.In timber constructions, the challenge is even greater, as sound and vibrations travel more easily through lightweight structures. Effective vibration damping was therefore essential to achieving the desired acoustic performance.
It’s been especially rewarding to contribute to a project on Blidö, where we have one of our offices and production facilities.
