Elastic materials

Elastic materials designed for vibration isolation serve a crucial role in various engineering applications where the control and reduction of vibrations are essential. These materials possess unique properties that enable them to absorb and dissipate energy efficiently, thereby minimizing the transmission of vibrations from one structure to another.

Typically composed of polymers or elastomers, these materials exhibit high flexibility and resilience, allowing them to deform under dynamic loads and return to their original shape once the load is removed. This elasticity enables them to act as effective shock absorbers, absorbing vibrational energy and preventing it from propagating further.
