Image of Vibratec Spring Isolator 7001. Inside is a spring that isolates vibrations. A steel wire cuchion surrounds the stud and acts as a movement limiter. Mounting light weight equipment on top of these isolators protects them from damage caused by vibrations.

Spring Isolator VT7001

Suspend very light weight sensitive equipment with our spring isolator 7001. A series of isolators with almost constant natural frequency of 7-11 Hz (within the recommended load range). The isolator is a steel spring, cushions and bore made of 18/8 stainless steel. Housing in aluminium. These mounts meet MIL-E-5400 and AIR 7306 standards.

Product Characteristics

Loading in compression only. Built in movement limiters in all directions.

Maximum excitation amplitude: ± 0,4 mm
Temperature range: -90°C to +300°C
Magnification factor (Q): <4
Mechanical strength: 10 g
Weight: 0.04 kg.

Product Applications

The spring isolator 7001 is designed to suspend and protect sensitive components in electronic, electrical, or mechanical assemblies across a range of demanding environments. Typical application areas include hospitals, vehicles, aircraft, and industrial systems. Suspending light weight sensitive equipment, such as precision machine tools, helps shield it from harmful vibrations that can cause damage, reduce performance, and shorten equipment lifespan.

Note

For larger loads, refer to isolator VT-7002 (0.7 – 60.0 daN).
