The legendary training facilities at Kääriku Spordibaashave been renovated — including the heavy lifting area, built to handle extreme loads and repeated impact.

Decoupling the floor structure

The entire lifting zone was constructed with a full-surface elastic layer beneath the concrete slab using Regufoam® vibration 220.

Performance of the floor construction

This resilient construction helps to:
✔️ Reduce structure-borne noise and vibrations from heavy lifting
✔️ Create elastic decoupling between the floor structure and the building frame
✔️ Improve the long-term durability of the floor construction

In environments exposed to high dynamic loads, the construction beneath the surface is critical.

To minimize disturbing noise to adjacent offices, the floor was constructed with a 120mm floating concrete slab using Vibratec’s Jack-Up Spring System VT-JFS.
